At Family Tête-à-Tête, we believe that every child deserves the strength of a loving family, the dignity of opportunity, and the hope of a brighter future. Inspired by the life and legacy of Yonel Nelson, we are committed to supporting children in Haiti by providing access to education, mentorship, and resources that nurture both the heart and the mind.
Guided by the values of unity, perseverance, and faith, we seek to build strong foundations for families and empower a new generation to rise with pride, purpose, and love.
A Vision Takes Root
In 2015, Dr. Charles took her commitment to Haiti one step further and founded Family Tete à Tête, Inc., with the goal of raising awareness about the educational challenges facing Haiti’s children and providing them with the resources to succeed. But Dr. Charles knew that education alone would not create lasting change.
Empowering the Future
Through Family Tete à Tête, Inc., Dr. Charles is building an ecosystem of support for Haitian children, ensuring they have not only the education they deserve but also the healthcare, safety, and basic resources necessary to thrive. She is determined to break the cycle of poverty by addressing both immediate and long-term needs of the children and communities in Haiti.
